In the little town of Bethlehem, a long, long time ago, a star shined so bright that Wise Men from different parts of the world followed the star to reach Bethlehem and discovered the birth of the Christ Child. They brought along gifts for the baby and his parents. In other parts of Bethlehem, where shepherds were grazing their sheep, angels appeared to give them the good news. They followed the star to visit the precious Child wrapped in swaddling clothes. Stars capture all that is magically on Christmas Eve, as they twinkle and light the way. The holy family, the visitors, and the animals of the stable, all glow in the warmth of Joseph’s lantern and the stars that shine through.
