Baking for Cherry Festival

I always like hearing from my baking friends, like Judy!

“Hi Pipka,

I bought a cake pan from you at the first Kriskindle market in Door County. Then last year (or the year before), I stopped at your store and bought a second one. I make Almond Cakes for our church's holiday bazaar and my husband makes Lefse and Rosettes.

Now I'm also making them for a cherry fest we are having here in Watertown. I was in a meeting where we were making the final plans for the sale and I said I thought I'd make 10 cakes and cut them in half (like what I did for last year's bazaar). Every person said I need to make more as they are so good and they always quickly sell out. I use your recipe and your pans and they turn out so good. I sell the 1/2 cakes for $10 each.

Just thought I'd share. One of the church people bought her own pan from you as she and her daughter loved the cakes so much!
