Bake. Share. Love.
We are all homebound and most likely feeling a little stressed. Perhaps this is an opportunity for us to make room for some quality time for ourselves and our families. For me, that time is making art, watching a good movie, cooking and baking in the kitchen. There's nothing like the aroma of delicious homemade chicken noodle soup served with crisp light popovers slathered with butter.
Dessert always makes me feel good and Almond Cake loaded with chocolate chips is my kitchen staple. Calories be gone! And who knew tapioca pudding could be so decadently yummy when topped with blueberry compote made with frozen wild blueberries. Speaking of blueberries, giant blueberry muffins right out of the oven start any day off on a high note.
When the baking is finished and the dishes are in the dishwasher (although washing by hand with lots of soap and hot water keeps our hands super clean), turn to an uplifting movie, the book you've always been wanting to read or pull out the puzzle that's been waiting for you for a long, long time.
Join me in my BLOG kitchen for simple no-stress healthy and delicious recipes as well as ideas for fun art projects the whole family can participate in.
We're in this together. Be safe.
