Father Christmas of Iceland
Father Christmas is bundled up and, on his way, as he brings toys to the children of Iceland on this snowy Christmas Day. The unwrapped toys, as well as the small packages, will be placed under the Christmas tree before the children awake to start their Christmas celebrations. Gingerbread cut out cookies are hung from the freshly cut evergreen tree, their aroma signaling it is Christmas. Iceland’s landmass is covered with a sheet of ice, but Father Christmas is wearing his special warm boots as he walks from house to house and his furry coat keeps him toasty warm in this cold but beautiful country. Father Christmas will witness along the way the extraordinary wonder of the aurora borealis, Northern Lights, in all its multi-colored, enchanting beauty.
