Children everywhere enjoy books and stories especially at Christmas time. Children feel the magic and excitement of Christmas with every page turned and every sentence read in hushed mysterious tones by an angel.

Alexandra performs this task, reading to a little girl from Holland. She reads a book entitled Sinter Klaas, the Dutch Santa who visits children in Holland on December 6th, St. Nicholas Day. On this day, Sinter Klaas brings children candies and treats, marking the beginning of the holiday season in the Netherlands. Sinter Klaas is dressed as St. Nicholas, the bishop of Myra, in white robes and rides into villages and cities on a great white horse. It is a magical day for children and adults alike.
